"Dating Really Stinks" - FINAL // May 04, 2007
The four part series "Dating Really Stinks" came to a close last night (with a bang). Over 300 crowded into the Newman Center to, once again, hear the message of God's love AND that it is God alone who answers life's most critical but most pesky question: Who am I?
It has been an incredible semester and a very fruitful collaboration between Youth Arise / the Diocese of Phoenix / the Newman Center/ and ADORE Ministries in Louisiana. The topic of dating, love, and relationships was the perfect platform to evangelize and tell young people of the good news of our salvation in Jesus Christ.
Holy Week Missions // Apr 06, 2007
Please pray for the nine men who are staying at the Youth Arise Men's House participating in a Holy Week Mission. Pray for them as they tell many about the love of God in Jesus Christ and while doing so, invite them back to the Eucharist.
"Dating Really Stinks" Part II // Mar 29, 2007
Great night. Over 300 young adults jammed into the Newman Center at ASU. Paul George shared a powerful message on the "baggage" many of us carry into relationships and the redemptive power of Jesus Christ to alleviate these burdens. It's true, God really does want us to cast our cares upon him - no matter how big or small. It's great to be a small part of a big thing God is doing with young adults here in the valley.

Big Week // Mar 27, 2007
Youth Arise staff and friends are in the midst of a big week. Today, Tuesday March 27th, we finished up our fourth retreat at St. Mary's High School. Today we shared the gospel with, laughed with, and journeyed to the cross with about 200 Juniors. These days are exhausting, but at the end of them, we are reminded that there is nothing better we can to but to speak of the love of God in Jesus Christ.
And tomorrow, March 28th, we will setup shop at the ASU Newman Center along with ADORE Ministries and the Diocese of Phoenix for the second installment of "Dating Really Stinks." The first night, a few weeks back, was a special night where over 300 college students and young adults gathered to hear of God's perspective on dating, love, relationships. Looking forward to the tomorrow night. This day has been the best day of the month during each month we have done these outreaches with ADORE 2097. Please pray for us.
