If you are registering a GROUP (rather than as an INDIVIDUAL) for ARISE 08 and your group consists of 10 or more people you will receive a 10% discount per participant off the total cost of Registration and Housing (if you choose housing at Yavapai). This will be a savings of close to 20 dollars per participant. So, for example, if you are a student at the University of Montana and you and nine of your friends want to road trip to Prescott, AZ for Memorial Day Weekend to attend ARISE 08 you (and your crew) will be charged a total of $1665 for Registration and Housing, rather than $1850. Cool?
But, if you and only five of your friends are coming from the University of Notre Dame (go Irish), then your job (if you want to save about $20 per person) is to ask four more Golden Domers to hit the road and come with you. Then your group will hit the magic number of 10 total and everyone is twenty bucks richer and low and behold you now each have spending money for those "on-your-own" meals at the Conference. Sweet? "But, wait a minute", you say, "What if I already registered a group of 10 or more and I paid full price. No fair." You are right that isn't fair, and we will contact you in the next few days to discuss a rebate.
ALREADY REGISTERED AS AN INDIVIDUAL:
Or, you say "Hold on a second. I wouldn't have registered already as an individual if I would've known there was a discount for groups of 10 or more. In fact, I know a couple of people who have already registered and others who intend to register soon - could we link up to make a group of 10?" Good idea. If that describes you - would you contact us by March 15th? We have a plan for you too. Please contact us by phone and leave a voicemail. 480-966-9850. We will call you back ASAP. But, make sure you call us by the stroke of Midnight, AZ Time, on Saturday March 15th.
But otherwise, the discount for groups of 10 or more is fair game between now and May 23. See you in Prescott.
